The Crosby Scholars program seeks to ensure that every public school student in Forsyth County has the opportunity to attend college. The program encourages community involvement and volunteerism as a means of gaining knowledge and experience to better prepare students for success. The Shepherd’s Center and Crosby Scholars are poised for a lifelong learning relationship of community benefit. Click here to see an article on the first Tech Buddy program, and be sure to stay tuned for future opportunities to receive assistance from a young person!

Tech Savvy is the Shepherd’s Center’s program to teach older adults tech skills of their choosing. Locations for Tech Savvy classes are Goodwill Industries on University, South Fork Recreation center on Country Club and the Shepherd’s Center itself. Course content varies. Classes such as Computer ABC’s and How to Skype are a couple examples.

The Shepherd’s Center offers one-on-one computer assistance when computer coaches are available. Click here to see the plethora of classes we’ve got scheduled for your convenience to become the expert you always wanted to be!

Contact Rae Gosh at 336-748-0217 to discuss your needs and to see if a volunteer coach may be available to assist you, or to register for an upcoming Tech Buddy or Tech Savvy session.
