The Shepherd's Center of Greater Winston-Salem is an interfaith ministry that promotes and supports successful aging
by providing direct services, volunteer opportunities,
and enrichment programs for older adults.
Faith in Action Care Program --visitation, respite care, minor home repair and transportation services for homebound older adults.
Congregational Nurse and Health Ministry Program -- community partnership to promote, develop, and support health ministries in and through faith communities. Senior Center Program -- exercise classes, bridge, crafts, educational programs and fellowship groups. l Adventures in Learning --a "mini-university" life-long learning series
with courses held each Spring and Fall.
l New Horizons Band -- a local band involving older adults - see flyer l SHIIP -- Medicare and insurance counseling for beneficiaries
l Used Book Center --processing used books for agency fundraising
